Supporting the Blood Drive

For many years, we held quarterly blood donation sessions at the temple, using South Thames Blood Transfusion Centre mobile blood units, so that our devotees and also our local neighbours could give blood to those in life-threatening need.  Since we began, we have been able to donate 537 units of blood, what we like to call “Liquid Love” which is amazing. Thank you to all those who have donated. ❤️

When this mobile  service was withdrawn, due to hospital cuts,  we organised large blood donation sessions in central London and continue to encourage our devotees to register as blood donors and donate locally where they live or work.  We have now also started registering our devotees onto the National Bone Marrow Programme run by DKMS to help those suffering from Leukaemia and Aplastic Anaemia.
